Ordering
Who can buy from SteadyCold?
Any business that ships temperature-sensitive goods: pharmacies, clinics, med spas, veterinary practices, labs and food sellers. You don't need an account or a licence to order. Packaging is not a regulated product.
Do I need a quote?
No. Every price is on the product page. Add cases to the cart and pay by card. Use Request a Quote only for pallets or custom logo printing.
What is the minimum order?
One case. Each product page shows the units per case and the price per unit.
How do volume discounts work?
Order 5–9 cases and you get 5% off. Order 10 or more cases and you get 10% off. The discount is applied automatically in cart. No code needed.
How can I pay?
By credit or debit card at checkout. Invoice terms are not available yet.
Can I create an account for reorders?
Yes. An account saves your addresses and order history, so reordering takes a minute. It is optional.
Products
Do you sell medicine, syringes or vials?
No. We sell cold-chain packaging only. Our kits never include medication, vials or pens.
What is in a GLP-1 kit?
The packaging to ship one order cold. Small and Medium kits: a Vial Capsule with ice rods, a 2–8 °C indicator, a packing card and a foil mailer. Large kit: a foam shipper with carton, four 6 oz gel packs, an indicator and a packing card. "GLP-1" names the use, not a product we sell. See all GLP-1 Kits.
How long will a package stay at 2–8 °C?
Hold time depends on pack-out and season; see our Packing Guide. We don't publish hold-time figures until we have test reports to back them. Route, season and carrier all change the result, so test each pack-out on your own lanes.
Is your packaging validated or ISTA tested?
Not at this time. We sell packaging components, not pre-validated shipping systems. Pharmacies and anyone shipping medicine should validate pack-outs for their own shipments. We will publish test reports when they exist.
Do gel packs arrive frozen?
No. Gel packs and ice rods ship at room temperature. Freeze or refrigerate them before use. The Packing Guide shows how.
Is the Vial Capsule reusable?
Yes. It is a screw-top canister made for repeat use. Refill ice rods are sold in pairs: Capsule Ice Rods.
Shipping, samples and returns
When will my order ship?
Orders ship from Virginia within 1 business day (Mon–Fri). Shipping is free on orders of $300 or more and $20 flat below that. Details: Shipping & delivery.
Can I get free samples?
Yes, if you are a business that ships cold products. Tell us what you ship on the Free Samples page.
Can you print our logo on the packaging?
Yes, on Vial Capsules and mailers, through a quote. Request a quote with your quantities and artwork.
Can I return an order?
Full, unopened cases can be returned within 30 days. Opened packaging can't be returned, for hygiene reasons, and custom-printed items are final sale. See Returns.
