Shipping policy

This policy applies to orders placed at the SteadyCold online store, operated by SteadyCold ("we", "us"), 25251 Beach Pl, Chantilly, VA 20152.

Dispatch

Orders ship within 1 business day (Mon–Fri). All orders ship from Virginia. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding US federal holidays. Orders placed on a weekend or holiday ship on the next business day.

Shipping rates

Orders with a subtotal of $300 or more (after discounts, before tax): free shipping.
Orders under $300: $20 flat rate per order.

The shipping charge is shown at checkout before you pay.

Carriers and transit times

We ship by UPS, USPS or FedEx Ground, chosen by us for the size and destination of the order. Ground transit usually takes 1–5 business days within the contiguous United States. Transit times are carrier estimates. We are not responsible for carrier delays, but we will help you trace a late package.

We ship to addresses in the United States.

Tracking

When your order ships, we email you a tracking number.

Condition of goods on arrival

Our products are packaging supplies. Gel packs and ice rods ship at room temperature and must be frozen or refrigerated by you before use.

Damaged in transit

If any part of your order arrives damaged, email us at info@steadycold.com within 7 days of delivery. Include your order number and a photo of the damaged items and the outer shipping box. Once we confirm the damage, we will ship a replacement or refund the damaged items, at no cost to you. Claims made after 7 days may not be accepted.

Lost packages

If tracking stops updating, or a package is marked delivered but you did not receive it, email us. We will open a claim with the carrier and work with you on a replacement or refund.

Wrong address

Please check your shipping address at checkout. If a package is returned to us because of an incorrect address, we will reship it once you confirm the correct address. Reshipping is charged at our flat rate unless the order qualifies for free shipping.
